Research
As a psychology department with a focus on cognitive ergonomics in traffic we carry out applied research on the interaction of traffic environment, driver and vehicle. As a member of the IZVW we feel committed to an interdisciplinary approach. This allows us to investigate complex problems in traffic from various angles and in appropriate depths, taking into account technical, physiological and neurological findings. In our research activity we are committed to thorough experimental methodology and the application of progressive and intricate measurement instrumentation and simulation techniques.
Further information on our research activities can be found in Projects.
As we are very proud of the standard of the technical equipment we apply in our research, we have dedicated the section Facilities to them.
