Abstract
This project´s aim is to develop a system that enables the instructor to detect and document deviations from safety-relevant behavior before, while and after a surveyed ride in a train simulator. By means of behavioral markers the train driver´s performance should be described and evaluated. The development of such a system is proposed in several steps of analysis which ensure that the system (1) corresponds to the demands, (2) can be integrated into general operational structures concerning quality maintenance and increase, (3) satisfies the standards of test theory, (4) can be applied by different instructors in an objective and reproducible way and finally (5) is accepted by all people involved in the process.
