Abstract
Aims of the project:
Preparing a comparative study of the actual national regulations and directives related to initial and continuing training and qualification of train drivers.
Defining the necessary contents of training and qualification in a European main/minimum curriculum.
Developing integrative qualification modules for a standardized certification of train drivers and trainers (see EUROPASS). This contains classical print media, web-based training tools, and scenarios for simulator systems. In addition to this trainer manuals should be developed to qualify the testing personal for certification according to DIN EN 17024.
The content of the qualification modules will be provided with the aid of a content management system.
