    ACTCON 2021

Würzburg Summer Module Course on Action Control

Humans aim to change their environment, including their social environment, in intended ways. In other words, humans act in a goal-oriented manner, be the goal simple, like grasping an object, or more complex, like guiding another person. Successful goal-oriented action rests on various cognitive prerequisites (e.g., mentally representing goals, choosing among behavioral options) and comes with various consequences (e.g. errors). A comprehensive study of goal-oriented action requires multifaceted methods, including behavioral experiments, modelling, or eye-tracking.

The 2021 Würzburg Summer Module Course on Action Control (ACTCON) will offer focused, in depth courses that advance participants' knowledge and skills to the current state of the art. It will take place online from July 19 to July 22 2021, and all courses will be taught in English.
